Whakarongorau Aotearoa (Whakarongorau), a social enterprise, is a virtual health and social services organisation with a proven record of connecting people seamlessly with care when they need it. Whakarongorau aims to be there when face to face health and social services cannot, providing consistent, clinically supported access to services for those in need or when people are unable to access other options due to location, time of day, financial or cultural barriers.

Whakarongorau supports a range of primary care clinics across Aotearoa, providing continuity of care for primarily high-needs rural communities and priority populations.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About the role
This is a contract role for clinics (Monday – Friday primarily).
As a Tākuta (Doctor) with Whakarongorau you will:
Provide care tailored to meet the unique needs of registered patients, collaborate with clinics to deliver optimal healthcare services, conduct remote telehealth consultations and understand local services and work to overcome access barriers.

You will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to rural, high-needs and our vulnerable communities, who face many challenges and barriers to access quality health care. You will be committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, patient-whanau centered care, and to working collaboratively with the clinic team, and be either;
