Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our company's assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all assets are utilized efficiently and effectively, and that they are maintained to the highest standards. The Asset Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that assets are aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of assets, and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure that assets are maintained to the highest standards, and that maintenance schedules are adhered to
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Manage the acquisition and disposal of assets
  • Ensure that all assets are properly insured and that insurance claims are processed in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain asset registers and databases
  • Provide regular reports on asset performance and utilization to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools
