The Role: We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Primary Teacher for our Year 7-8 students at our Kerikeri campus. As part of the One School Global team, you will play a key role in supporting students to thrive through our Learn to Learn framework. This student-centered approach helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset that are essential for lifelong learning and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, meaningful, and student-focused lessons for Year 7-8 students.
• Foster an environment where students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, develop self-discipline, and work collaboratively with peers.
• Implement the Learn to Learn framework to help students develop the skills and strategies needed to be effective learners, both in and out of the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the campus.
• Foster a culture of inquiry and creativity, encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and seek solutions to real-world challenges.
• Engage with parents and the broader community

Skills and Experience:

• Registered Primary Teacher with current NZ Teacher Certification
• Experience in teaching Year 7-8 students in a NZ environment is highly desirable.
• A passion for using innovative teaching methods that encourage active learning and critical thinking.
• Strong commitment to fostering a growth and performance mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
• Knowledge of and alignment with the Learn to Learn framework.
