Role Overview: 

Join Eptura as a Solutions Engineer and become part of a dynamic team of experts who are passionate about technology and innovation. As a key player in the Solutions Engineering (SE) team, you will be the go-to product specialist, acting as a trusted advisor to Account Executives and Channel Partners. Your role will involve driving the functional and technical sales process, positioning our value to meet the needs of prospects through discovery, requirements gathering, validation, product presentations, and demonstrations. 

The ideal Solutions Engineer is an energetic, self-motivated storyteller with a knack for consulting or pre-sales solution planning in a SaaS environment. You will leverage the knowledge gained during discovery to craft tailored demos that address the specific business needs of our clients. Your ability to lead deal strategy, discover new opportunities within accounts, and prepare compelling narratives based on real customer success stories will be key to your success. 

  

Outside of supporting Sales, you will innovate on the narratives and infrastructure within our demo environments, integrating the latest industry trends and competitive insights. You will also contribute to thought leadership for broader marketing and internal training purposes. If you have a strong technical background, a sense of curiosity, and experience with solution selling, this role is perfect for you. Experience in Corporate Real Estate, Facility Management, or Service Provider industries is a plus. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Partner Account Managers, and Account Managers to position Eptura’s product suite to meet specific customer/prospect requirements and pain points.
  • Engage in Discovery: Participate in calls and meetings to identify key business issues and validate prospective customer needs.
  • Develop Solutions: Prepare and lead successful solution presentations and demonstration plans using our technology to solve critical business issues.
  • Customize Demos: Tailor demo environments and narratives based on market trends and real customer success stories.
  • Deliver Presentations: Conduct functional and technical product demonstrations that address pain points and highlight Eptura’s unique business value.
  • Overcome Challenges: Set and pre-empt competitive traps, eliminating sales obstacles during product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Support Proposals: Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and written proposals with functional and technical expertise.
  • Drive Product Development: Collaborate with Product Management to influence future product functionality based on market needs.
  • Research Competitors: Conduct research to address and dispel customer objections effectively.
  • Enable Learning: Develop and maintain expertise in all assigned product areas through self-guided learning and curiosity.
  • Support Implementation: Ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation, collaborating with Professional Services as needed.
  • Thought Leadership: Build and deliver content for sales and lead generation, marketing events, and other customer-facing activities.
  • Represent Eptura: Attend marketing events as a representative of Eptura and our world-class solutions.
  • Capture Requirements: Gather and hand off solution requirements to the implementation services team for seamless transitions. 

 

About you: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of consulting or pre-sales engineering for software/SaaS solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Eptura solutions or similar IWMS/CAFM products.
  • Independent and Motivated: Self-driven with a positive attitude and a competitive desire to win.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications, persuasive presenter comfortable with both large and small audiences.
  • Collaborative: Willing to lead the technical solution selling process and collaborate with various parts of the organization.
  • Analytical: Effective business analysis skills to identify and document current and future client solution requirements.
