Job Description: Sales Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the sales section team, ensuring the achievement of targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the organization. This is a part-time role with flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the sales team
- Meet individual and team targets as set by management
- Assist in ensuring smooth running of the section and its team
- Contribute to training and development initiatives for the sales team
- Achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with organizational plans
Day-to-day responsibilities (as agreed with Line Manager):
- Assist Line Manager in recruiting new team members based on agreed criteria
- Support Line Manager in training, appraising, and developing individual team members to meet targets
- Monitor performance and provide guidance for improvement as necessary
- Prepare monthly reports according to agreed content/format for Line Manager review
- Collaborate with Line Manager on developing sales strategies, including effective lead/prospect search methods and expansion into new markets
- Create individual action plans/targets for all team members
-Assist in developing organization's sales strategy & general business planning
-Presentations, proposals, & price lists preparation while maintaining profit margin
Skills:
-A proven track record as a successful Sales Manager or similar role within the sales industry.
-Solid knowledge of sales techniques & principles.
-Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of individuals.
-Good understanding of recruitment processes & ability to evaluate potential candidates.
-Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.
-Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
-Minimum 5 years experience as a mid-senior level manager or equivalent position within a relevant industry.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Valid driver's license.
